Hi, I'm Zoe and I live in Manchester with my husband and two lovely children.
I started Zosi Crochet after stumbling across a passion for crochet when looking to learn a new skill that would engage my creative side and keep my hands busy.
When my nephew was born prematurely, my sister-in-law was given an octopus and bonding squares as these help to create a bond between mum and baby. Instantly, I wanted to put my newly developed skill to use and started making crochet items for charities.
I continued to develop my skills and enjoyed making gifts for the new arrivals to my family.
Roll on a few years and my second child was born. Prior to birth we found out that she had Down's Syndrome but hadn't expected the extent of health issues she would encounter following birth. The next couple of years were spent mostly in hospital and during this time crochet became a great support for me. It gave me the opportunity to 'zone out' and take a break from the stresses of the situation.
Now, as a full-time carer for my daughter, I've continued with my love of crochet, making more bonding squares for the hospital that cared for my daughter and also for charities.
I feel really proud that I've been able to start this business and bring my designs and products to life. I hope that my customers enjoy my products as much as I love making them and looking forward to seeing my business grow.
